Refund and Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how you can cancel a Musafir Infotech plan or project and when you get money back. Musafir Infotech is being registered in India. The full legal entity name and registered address will be added here once registration is complete. These terms are a draft until online payments open.

Monthly plans

• You can cancel a monthly plan at any time before your next billing date.
• Your plan stops at the end of the month you have already paid for. You will not be charged again.
• Work for the paid month continues until the end of that month, unless you ask us to stop earlier.
• Once a month has started and work for that month has been delivered, that month is not refundable.

Setup fee

• The one-time setup fee covers setting up your accounts, profiles and first content.
• If you cancel before any work starts, you get a full refund of the setup fee and any plan payment.
• Once setup work has started, the setup fee is not refundable.

Yearly plans

With yearly prepay, you pay for 10 months and get 12 months of service. The setup fee is waived.

• Within 7 days of payment: if no work has started, you can cancel for a full refund.
• After that: you get a pro-rata refund for the unused full months, minus the free months benefit. In simple words, the months you have used are charged at the normal monthly price, and the rest of your payment is refunded. The current month that has already started is counted as used.

Example

Say a plan costs ₹1,000 per month. This is only an example amount, not a real price.

• Yearly price: 10 x ₹1,000 = ₹10,000 for 12 months.
• You cancel after using 4 full months.
• Months used, at the normal monthly price: 4 x ₹1,000 = ₹4,000.
• Refund: ₹10,000 minus ₹4,000 = ₹6,000.

Another way to see it: you have 8 unused months worth ₹8,000 at the monthly price. The 2 free months you received, worth ₹2,000, are taken back. ₹8,000 minus ₹2,000 = ₹6,000.

If the months used, charged at the monthly price, add up to the full amount you paid or more, there is no refund.

One-time projects

One-time projects include websites, online store setup, marketplace onboarding and branding. Refunds depend on how far the work has gone:

• Before work starts: full refund.
• After work starts, before the first draft or design is shared: refund of the amount paid, minus 25% of the project price for planning and setup work done.
• After the first draft or design is shared: refund of 50% of the amount paid for the remaining work, if the project is cancelled.
• After final delivery or after the site or store goes live: no refund.

Domain names, hosting, paid themes, plugins, apps and other third-party purchases made for you are not refundable once bought, because the sellers do not refund them to us.

Things we cannot refund

• Ad spend paid by you directly to Meta or Google. Please contact the platform for any query about it.
• Platform fees paid to Shopify, payment gateways, marketplaces or other providers.
• Any month or project stage that has already been delivered.

If something goes wrong on our side

If we fail to deliver what your plan includes for a month, tell us. We will either fix it quickly or give a fair refund or credit for that month.

How to cancel or ask for a refund

Message or email us with your name, business name and the phone number you used with us, and tell us what you want to cancel. We will confirm your cancellation and the refund amount, if any, in writing.

When refunds are paid

Once a refund is approved, we process it to your original payment method within 7 to 10 working days. Your bank or payment app may take a few more days to show it.
